Q. The chronology here with respect to reading material is certainly striking.
A. Yes, we're talking over 200 years. The viewer can dwell on the marvels of technology within that time or can do what I did and enjoy the visual links between the two pairings. I like the delicateness of the young girl against the hard-edge, block letter magazine title and the interplay among the peach tones and the reds and blacks in both the foreground and the background.
